The Nantgarw China Works site is much larger and more complex than most people think and includes the original pottery site, bottle kilns and three separate buildings including all three floors of Nantgarw House. To give our visitors the optimal experience everyone is given a free one hour guided tour included within the very low admission price of just £3.50. Children under sixteen are free of charge and do not need to be included in your booking.

Very popular are our tours combined with a delicious cream tea including locally baked scones, clotted cream and jam, bara brith and Welsh cakes all served on vintage china in gorgeous surroundings.

Welsh language tours are generally available on Saturdays only. If you are looking to bring a large group you may wish to view our group bookings section.
